Sleeping Horses
At the moment I am in the process of making a little film about sleeping horses. When it is completed I will be posting it here and I think it will give some interesting insights into how horses sleep, what they need in order to get that sleep and what happens when they don't. It turns out that Misty has equine sleep disorder which means that she is not lying down at all in order to get into a deep sleep and as a result she is buckling at the knees when dozing standing up. I will be trying to figure out how to help her to get that all important few minutes deep sleep a day and will observe her to see if she appears any different when she does. I'll keep you posted about my progress.
